Yves Klein - Pompon Bear

Yves Klein tirelessly searches for the essence of art and wants to expose its immateriality. The artist thus finds in sculpture a true space of freedom where monochrome permeates three-dimensional space. In 1962, the year of his death, Yves Klein covers universally admired masterpieces with his IKB blue: the Venus of Alexandria, the Winged Victory of Samothrace or Michelangelo's Dying Slave. They then become embodied objects, sensitive presences.
