Takeru Amano, born in Tokyo, moved to New York at a young age to study printmaking.

A painter and sculptor, Takeru combines classicism and modernity, foreign influences and Japanese pop culture in his creations, whether they are paintings, sculptures, drawings or prints.

Son of an internationally renowned illustrator, Yoshitaka Amano, Takeru grew up in an artistic universe.

He has exhibited his works in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris since 2016. He also created the lifestyle brand “Newart” and collaborated with many brands, such as Yoji Yamamoto.
