Born in 1977, in France.

It was in a small town in the South of France near Avignon that graffiti began to make its way into his head. The teenager he was then was bored stiff in class.

So he started drawing, first in his notebooks, then very quickly began to write his name on every table in the classroom. He took a certain pleasure in seeing his name spread throughout his college at the time.

Quite naturally, he continued spraying all the walls of his city... Acting mainly at night, in total anonymity, wandering from street to street, looking for the ideal, most envied spot...

A first stay in Paris, followed by a second in Los Angeles only confirmed that graffiti would represent an important part of his life. It was at this time that he discovered the work of the man who would become Bom.k. It was a shock!

Their paths crossed and recrossed until Kan came to live in Paris in 2000.

From there everything happened. He joined the DMV crew (Da Mental Vaporz) which at the time was only made up of Bom.k and Iso, and they started to produce various walls and other collective paintings.

Since then, Kan has participated in numerous graffiti jams and exhibited his work in galleries in France and abroad with his crew (currently comprising: Bom.k | Iso | Jaw | Lime | Brusk | Sowat | Blo | Lek).

Combining his passion for computers, video and design with his traditional graffiti technique, Kan uses his name in a thousand and one ways, from flops to digital "block letters", including pixel art, graffiti frames and even dripping QR codes.

At first glance, a series of dots hypnotize the viewer, which suddenly forms a portrait, a familiar face looking straight at you. Who is watching whom?
