ARTIST
Brusk developed his creativity from a very young age. With a pencil in hand, he spent his
time doodling until his encounter with graffiti and Hip Hop in 1991.
A graduate of the Saint Etienne School of Fine Arts, his in-depth work on graffiti has become a completely atypical case for the teaching staff. He masters new techniques and approaches different mediums (photo, video, computer science), thus pushing his limits and opening up new creative universes.
His mastery of many tools allows him to work on figurative, abstract, and
realism or refined graphics. Brusk develops his approach on various media, he is often led to exhibit his work and to invest unusual places. His style developed over the years, combines a work
calligraphic, in 3D, characters and scenes.
The balance of his compositions is based on a subtle play of space management, voids and accumulations, materials, superpositions of planes... He achieves an alchemy between different influences born from photography, comics, cinema but also from his acuity in grasping urban aesthetics.
His desire to transpose into universes other than the original one, leads him to work on textiles, furniture design, original packaging, objects, multimedia projects.
